The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a grant that businesses can use towards the cost of installing electric vehicle chargepoints for their staff.

The WCS grant is £350 per chargepoint socket up to 40 sockets per applicant

Does my business qualify for the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS)?

The WCS is available to any business, charity or public authority, with some conditions including the following:

• You must have appropriate off-street parking.
• You do not need to currently have electric vehicles as part of your fleet, you will need to express an existing or future need for the business.
• Your charge point must be installed by an OZEV approved installer.

Our Process

• Speak directly to one of our EV Workplace Charge Installation team who will confirm grant eligibility and answer any questions you may have on EV charging and discuss the grants available.
• We will arrange a convenient time to complete a site survey covering all aspects of your requirements.
• You complete a simple  online application to generate your voucher code.
• If successful you will be emailed a voucher code which you can then present to your OZEV-approved installer. Your installer will then use this to claim the grant upon completion of the installation. The voucher code is valid for 120 days from the date of issue.
• Following the site survey we will provide you with a proposal for your installation.
• On the day of installation, one of our in house EV Electricians will complete a safe and tidy installation in line with current regulations.
• Following completion, you will receive an Electrical Installation Report for your records. all the required paperwork will be submitted to OZEV (you only pay the amount of the installation minus the grant funding, we claim the remainder directly from OZEV.
